Physical 3d printed visualization of paths from Chris Woebken’s openpaths.cc data.

This print is using a really unusual technique, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else use it yet. I generate custom gcode to trace the already printed path while extruding more plastic. Over the course of the print, the nozzle is slowly raised to avoid dragging the printed path around.

Moviebarcode is a great tumbler showcasing timeline images of a lot of movies. I don’t know this particular movie but the moviebarcode looks awesome.
It would be great to have a 500 x 188 cm print of that on my wall.
